You are in need of a tailor-made, sustainable, stable and high-quality packaging solution for storage, handling, transport of your product? We manufacture according to design drawings or develop the optimal suitable packaging for you and your product. All services – development, design, sampling, approval and production – come from a single source. You are independent of quantities. Our dangerous goods packaging made of wood, wood-based materials and composites is manufactured at the highest level in the best quality. If necessary, we supplement our high-quality (dangerous goods) packaging with inlays. Here, too, we pay attention to the best properties and combine inlays made of e.g., plastic, such as EPP, in order to achieve the greatest possible safety for your product. Of course, as your reliable partner, we are certified according to DIN ISO 9001.
Development & Approval
The right packaging
We develop the right packaging. All we need is the CAD data of the product that needs to be packaged as well as the weight, the material and the intended use or the destination/storage location. In close consultation with you, we develop, design and sample the perfect packaging for your product – all from a single source.
We are also happy to take over the approval of your dangerous goods packaging for you. Our "all-round carefree package" includes the development, conception, construction, sampling and approval.
Of course, this is based on the consideration of all generally applicable regulations and laws, in particular we orient ourselves on the guidelines and specifications of the ADR, GGSVE, Dangerous Goods Ordinance Sea and Air, etc.
After the development phase described above, the next step is the conception of a prototype by our highly qualified team. This is done either on the basis of one of our common packaging models or it is done for you, or Your product, a completely new type of packaging created in our R&D department. You will then receive a digital 3D sample. If a release is made for this purpose, samples are produced. On the basis of the original part – if possible and necessary – a passport check is carried out, if necessary. adjustments are made to the type and execution of the inlay. Secrecy, especially with sensitive devices, goes without saying. The passport check or adjustment can also be carried out in your house. With your approval of the sample, the future dangerous goods packaging is checked internally.
With your order, an external inspection of your dangerous goods packaging is carried out by TÜV Rheinland-Pfalz. After successful testing, the packaging is presented to the Federal Office for Materials Research (BAM), where the specific test for dangerous goods packaging is carried out. After approval and certification by the Federal Office for Material Research, your dangerous goods packaging will be manufactured on time.
It is completely irrelevant whether you need a single piece or want to commission a series production. We are happy to be there for you.
The adaptation of a type of dangerous goods crate approved by us to your dangerous goods, for example by changing the inlay, represents another service of ours. We thus draw on existing and proven resources that can be individually adapted. There is no need for a new development.
Tool inserts, engravings and the dimensionally accurate production of inlays are only a fraction of the possibilities available to us thanks to our CNC milling machines with millimetre precision. In addition, various materials such as plastics or glass can be processed in addition to wood, wood-based and wood-based composites. Our modern CNC center includes several CNC milling machines, five-axis milling is possible.
Not only in terms of sustainability, but also in terms of safety, there is the possibility of repairing reusable packaging. When commissioned, visual inspections of the entire packaging, replacement of closure parts, checks on the wood (material) are carried out, if necessary, boxes are also sorted out to ensure the safety of the product during handling, storage and transport as well as the safety of the user.
Our offer is rounded off by an in-house paint shop. Varnishes, glazing and oils are among the standard processes and are carried out with the utmost care. Our painters work with a modern airless system.
The application of glaze takes place completely before the final assembly, which means that the material is surface treated and protected all around.
Oiled surfaces get a rich, matte sheen. The product is protected from moisture. Oiled surfaces require regular post-treatment.
